The left mitten is almost finished, I only have to knit the cuff. I’m still not shure which cuff-style I’m going to use. Probably a simple 2×2 rib. Maybe with a red lining. It seems to be typical Skandinavian: dark knitting with a single red accent. I wanted to add Frederiques name and the year to the cuff, but Frederique didn’t think that a good idea.

Frederique has tried the mitten on. It’s a bit wide at the top, but also a bit tight near the thumb, so I should have made it any narrower. The thumb itself is a bit wide, but that was necessary for the width of the thumb-junction. I could have fitted the thumb better and increased the thumb stitches near the bottom. Maybe next time.
